National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Earns Continuing NCA CASI Accreditation
April 26, 2016 – Executive Director, Bruce Whitehead, announced today that the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) has earned continuing accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED. This action was taken at the AdvancED Accreditation Commission meeting held in Tempe, Arizona, on March 31, 2016. The NIAAA has been accredited since 2011.
NCA CASI provides nationally-recognized accreditation, the purpose of which is continuous school and association improvement focused on increasing student and member performance. To earn accreditation the association must meet NCA CASI’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the organization and implement a continuous process of association improvement. Accreditation is granted on a five-year term.
